HONDA CL500 for Sale at Honda Frankston in Carrum Downs, VIC | Specifications and Review Information
Retro Scrambler styling with all the modern safety features. Our scrambler style starts with the 12L retro fuel tank with pads, blacked out engine and frame, rubber gaiters and, in true CL tradition, a twin pipes exhaust muffler, with a distinctive stainless heat shield. Producing a healthy 43.4Nm torque, the LAMS approved twin-cylinder engine has been tuned for crisp response and smart acceleration. The CL500 drips with style and detail that only comes with long history, and begs to be ridden, customised and enjoyed.

Twin cylinder engine
The light and narrow 471cc parallel cylinder engine offers plenty of power and torque in the midrange, striking the perfect balance of what a mid-sized motorcycle engine should be. PGM-FI continuously ensures the correct fuel mixture is delivered for the conditions, giving you crisp throttle response at all times.
Disc brakes with ABS
Front and rear disc brakes, combined with standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps you make smoother, more controlled stops under less-than-ideal riding conditions.
Natural riding position
For ease of control, the CL500 position is placed upright in a natural comfortable posture. There's plenty of room on the flat seat to move back and forward allowing for a more aggressive attitude.
Retro LCD display
The easy-to-read 100mm ring houses a negative LCD display. The minimalist screen features digital speedometer, gear position indicator, clock, odometer, and illuminated engine diagnostic indicators.
The classic round headlight evokes retro styling but also contains modern LED lighting for greater on road visibility.
Light and strong, the 35mm diameter steel diamond-tube frame gives you plenty of feedback as road surfaces change. The shape and position of the engine mounts combined with the frame's rigidity balance keep vibration to a minimum.
Slipper assist clutch
The assisted clutch supports smoother gear changes with a lighter lever.
Front suspension is made of Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) inverted forks. At the rear you get a Pro-Link® set up. This combination gives you superior reaction and ride quality.
